Sindh Political Education Programme
Sindh Political Education Programme is geared towards a genuine understanding of issues and the transformation of society. It prepares students and young people for better governance and to meet the challenges of sustainable development. It is designed to raise the consciousness and create a better civic sense among the students and youth. It aims to develop their self confidence as well as understanding of the political process. They also get to learn about mechanisms that will enable them to influence and later handle decision making at macro and micro level.
Educational summer and winter camps are organised for children, during which short duration workshops are conducted. Within the wider goal of fostering the development of a democratic culture, the camps are designed to provide students with the theoretical grounding in essential political concepts, and providing knowledge and understanding of key political, social and economic issues in Pakistan.
