Capacity Building Programme for Peoples’ Organisations
CWS-P/A has been assisting community based projects for nearly a decade, focusing on institutional growth and professional development. Capacity building is instrumental in not only fulfilling the development needs of institutions and individuals but also creates a space for networking, collaboration and cooperation between the various actors of civil society. The term “Peoples’ Organisations” refers to agents of change including civil society, NGOs, religious bodies, CBOs, journalists, lawyers, and teachers. The programme strengthens organisations that have access to marginalised and oppressed communities. It operates through training, follow-up and networking components.
